CURRENT AVAILABLE POSITIONS: 

Barista/Cashier/Food Prep (Battle Ground)

Compensation: $17.50-$20 including tips
Employment type: part-time to full-time

Schedule: Weekend availability is required

BARISTA/CASHIER/FOOD PREP – JOB DESCRIPTION
-Greet customers, give excellent and friendly customer service to every customer, every time (no exception)
-Perform accurate handling of order placement via Point of Sale system (Toast)
-Brew coffee, espresso, cold/hot tea and other custom drinks as ordered by client
-Heat up, assemble and/or prepare cold/hot sandwiches, salads, to-go orders
-Stock pastries, cookies, bread, and other baked goods every morning and throughout the day when needed to refill case
-Re-stock cups, straws, lids, sugars, and coffee inventory as needed (check stock daily at opening)
-Make sure bathrooms are cleaned and adequately stocked with toilet paper, napkins, soap, etc. daily before opening
-Keep workstation neat, clean, organized and sanitized as soon as possible
-Clean up patron area, take out trash and wipe tables
-Working as part of a fun, high-energy team and be a team player
-Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls
-Attend company meetings, events, and training sessions as required
-Make to-go boxes, place stickers on boxes and pouches, restock to-go inventory
-Perform other duties outlined in Daily and Weekly task lists as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS – BARISTA/CASHIER/FOOD PREP

-A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
-Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
-Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
-Ability to understand preparation procedures and follow direction
-Basic mathematical skills
-Ability to problem solve quickly
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Ability to follow directions, recommendations, and constructive criticism from management/supervisors
-Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and the highest level of satisfaction for every customer
-Punctual, responsible, hardworking self-starter
-Ability to walk, bend, and stand for the duration of your shift
-Lift 25-50lb or as needed
-Ability to multi-task in a possibly high-stress environment
-Must be 18 years or older

The position is 25-35 hours a week and weekend availability is highly desired. Training is included. We offer competitive pay, sick pay, vacation pay and free meals.
